TfL Ref: 1634-1718
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 25th September asking for information about tube ticket offices.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
The four stations where works to former ticket offices to enable retail have been completed are, Charing Cross, Liverpool Street, Marble Arch and Westminster.
In addition, we are currently converting two former ticket offices at Bond Street and Stratford stations. Conversion works to both units are expected to be completed in the current calendar year and we are in advanced discussions with retailers to occupy these sites and commence their own retail fitting-out works early in the new year.
We are also currently working up detailed plans for a number of other former ticket office sites including Blackfriars, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street (a second site), North Greenwich, Oxford Circus, Shepherds Bush, Sloane Square, and Turnham Green stations - and expect at least four of these locations to be brought forward for conversion.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
