Could you please provide me with details of the number of private hire operator licence applications that have either been refused or revoked since 2013?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 September 2017 asking for the number of private hire operator licence applications that have either been refused or revoked since 2013.

We can confirm that since 1 October 2013, which is when our current recording system came into operation, there have been 24 applications rejected or refused.

It is not possible to revoke an application as this is an action that can only be taken against an active licence.
