Dial-a-Ride operating depots are generally located on industrial estates as their operating hours preclude their location in residential areas. As a result there is always an amount of dead mileage incurred by vehicles at the start and finish of every run.
Dial-a-Ride dead mileage figures are provided for the past six years only as figures for earlier years are no longer available.
