Our ref: FOI-1598-2425
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 August 2024 asking for information about air quality.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require. We do not assess the impact of ULEZ at individual locations. However, the location requested is in outer London and the London-wide ULEZ Six Month Report (https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/environment-and-climate-change/environment-and-climate-change-publications/london-wide-ulez-six-month-report) provides information in both trends in pollution levels in outer London and estimated impacts of ULEZ compared to a scenario without ULEZ.
For data at a local level it may interest you to visit the following London Air Quality Network (LAQN) website: https://www.londonair.org.uk/ which includes more than 100 monitoring sites. An additional 30 sites located across London, but not part of the LAQN, are also available on the Air Quality England website: https://www.airqualityengland.co.uk. Both websites provide detailed hourly data for all monitoring sites, as well as yearly aggregated statistics for key road transport pollutants, notably NOx (oxides of nitrogen) / NO2 (nitrogen dioxide), and PM10 / PM2.5 (particulate matter with a diameter of 10 and 2.5 micrometres respectively).
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
Tahsin Prima
