I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act the following details:
With respect to drug and alcohol testing for your employees, please confirm the following:
1) The panel of drugs you test for
2) That the cut-offs for laboratory tests for these drugs are in line with EWDTS guidelines

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14th August 2023 asking for information about drug and alcohol testing at TfL.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“With respect to drug and alcohol testing for your employees, please confirm the following:
1) The panel of drugs you test for 2) That the cut-offs for laboratory tests for these drugs are in line with EWDTS guidelines”.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The table below shows the drugs that TfL tests for, along with the cut-off levels. I can confirm that the cut-off levels align with the guidelines set out by European Workplace Drugs Testing Society (EWDTS).
