You asked
I would be very grateful if you could confirm the total cost to date of the blue TfL streetspace pedestrian barriers.
Could you also confirm if these are owned by TfL or on hire from a traffic management company and if so what is the hire/rental charge and on what basis ie paid monthly quarterly or once removed?
Lastly could you also confirm when they are all scheduled to be removed?

The blue Streetspace barriers are owned by TfL and cost approximately £300,000. The barriers were used to provide critical social distancing space across the capital in areas of high footfall. They were also used in some temporary cycling schemes to improve road space safety. TfL has to date removed 95 percent of the barriers but some remain in place for the medium term. The barriers will now either be reused in other projects or recycled, depending on need.
