Request ID: FOI-1566-2122 Date published: 04 November 2021
You asked
F/O from 1363-2122
Thank you for your responses. Most of this is the information I am looking for.
There are however a couple of things that I didn't get.
1367-2122 - Cycleway 25 - Sorry about this one. I have seen it in many places being referred to as Cycleway 25. However, looking at the TfL documents again, I see that it is simply named Ilford to Barking Riverside Cycleway (https://content.tfl.gov.uk/ilford-barking-riverside-consultation-report.pdf). Would it be possible to get the information I requested on this route?
1368-2122 - Cycleway 36/Quietway 8 - For this one, I gather that it is not included for funding in the current funding plan, but has it been completely cancelled or is it still a long term aspiration?
1369-2122 - Beam Parkway - Thank you for your confirmation on this. Would it be possible however to confirm whether segregated cycleways will be built as part of this project?
1397-2122 - Quietway 21 - For this query, I was referring to this Quietway 21 (https://wandsworthlivingstreets.org.uk/2017/11/15/wandsworth-living-streets-responds-to-quietway-21-proposal/) in south-west London. Would it be possible to get the information I requested on this route?
We answered
TfL Ref: 1566-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 October 2021 asking for information about our Cycleways and Quietways.
Ilford to Barking Riverside Cycleway - we can confirm that this route is currently under construction
Cycleway 36/Quietway 8 - delivery of this route is still an aspiration for both TfL and LB Southwark.
Beam Parkway - we can confirm that segregated cycleways will be built as part of this project
Quietway 21 - we can confirm that no further sections of Q21 will be built and the sections which have been built will not be branded as part of the cycleway network.
