Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 August 2024 asking for information about bus route 434.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You specifically asked: The new 434 bus route was not fully implemented because of road safety issues on part of the route in Kenley. TFL have been liaising with Croydon Council to resolve this. Please can you give an update on progress. Is Croydon Council delaying getting this matter resolved or is it out for public consultation?
The London borough of Croydon are currently undertaking their internal process to consult and, if they decide to proceed, to deliver the restrictions required on Wattendon Road to progress the scheme. We are not aware that any consultation has been undertaken yet.
