Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19th October 2021 asking for information about Balham High Road.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Please inform me when the bicycle lanes and other restrictions to road width in Balham High Road, installed following the Covid 19 emergency shall be removed?”
The existing restrictions along the high road were implemented in phases under a temporary traffic order and could be in place until January and March 2022 (depending on the section and the phase in which it was implemented). However, we are currently assessing the corridor to see if the temporary scheme should be retained, removed or changed. We will welcome public feedback on our findings in 2022.
