Follow-up from FOI-1399-2425: Do you know if this tram will ever come back in service? also will it have a plaque to commemorate it like you did with that DLR train for the Olympics i think it was?

Our Ref:         FOI-1559-2425

Thank you for your request received on 14 August 2024 asking for further information about the tram involved in the Sandilands derailment.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
 
We do not have any plans for the tram to be returned to service. There is a memorial located at the junction of Sandilands and Addiscombe Road and another in New Addington.
