FOI Request – Bus Shelters
Thank you for your letter received on 6 August 2019 asking for information about fly posting and criminal damage to bus shelters.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
We do not hold the information you have requested. We hold figures on criminal damage; however we do not hold specific data on criminal damage to bus shelters. Instances of criminal damage would be referred to the police for their investigation.
We also do not hold records of fly posting. We ask our officers and contractors to be vigilant when they are on street inspecting or carrying out works to take note and dispose of any fly posting. Anyone seen flyposting will be informed that our byelaws do not permit this and the notices are taken down.
