This left turn has been banned since September 1967.
Transport for London began issuing PCNs from this camera on 16 June 2022.

We issued five PCNs for contravention of this banned turn on 5 August 2022.

If a vehicle owner receives a PCN they believe to have been wrongly or unfairly issued they have the right to challenge it by making a representation as instructed on the PCN itself. If the representation is accepted, the penalty is cancelled.
If we reject the representation, the motorist has a further right of appeal to an Independent Adjudicator at London Tribunals. If the appeal is refused, the penalty remains open and if it is allowed the penalty is cancelled.
We can further advise that one PCN was cancelled for a PCN issued on the 7 August 2022. None were cancelled for the 5 August 2022 and 6 August 2022. The PCN was cancelled following acceptance of the representation.
Of the 66 PCNs issued on these three dates, we received 28 representations. Of these, eight were accepted, 12 were rejected and eight remain open. Of the 12 representations that were rejected, we received two appeals against our decision. These appeals were against PCNs issued on 6 August 2022 and both remain open.
