I am enquiring about figures for TfL’s spending on consultancy services over the past year.
Figures have been provided through the Mayor’s Question Time for 2016-19, and I am looking for some updated figures.

Thank you for your request received on 18 October 2021 asking for information about the TfL spend on consultancy services. I apologise for the delay in my response.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
We are working to reduce our reliance on Non-Permanent Labour (NPL) where feasible, however, it is important that we continue to make use of the flexibility offered by NPL where it is prudent to do so and to ensure that we are able to hire talent in areas where skills are scarce. Consultants are typically brought into the business to deliver a defined piece of work.
