The Pentonville Road entrance to Kings Cross Underground Station was closed shortly after the start of COVID 19.
Please can you advise whether the entrance is intended to be reopened soon according to its previous hours, of 7am-8pm weekdays; and/or share any documents related to this ongoing closure.

Thank you for your request received by us on 11 October 2021 asking for information about the Pentonville Road entrance to Kings Cross London Underground Station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for the following:
The Pentonville Road entrance to Kings Cross Underground Station was closed shortly after the start of COVID 19.
Please can you advise whether the entrance is intended to be reopened soon according to its previous hours, of 7am-8pm weekdays; and/or share any documents related to this ongoing closure.
We can advise that there are no immediate plans to open this entrance, which has been closed since 23 March 2020 at the start of the pandemic. This is because a review is taking place to determine the long term position for the entrance as the building is in need of improvement works to bring it up to standard.
