Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 August 2019 asking for information about expenditure.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

The London Transport Staff Welfare Fund was handed over to Transport Benevolent Fund (TBF) to administer on 1 September 2006 along with all its assets, with an initial valuation of £794k. This money may be used in accordance with their Trust Deed to relieve need, hardship and distress among beneficiaries (who do not need to be TBF members), but only among the classes of employee and ex-employee specified by Transport for London. All assets and accounts are kept separately to those of the main fund.
