I would like to submit a FOI request regarding Connected Living, which is, for the avoidance of doubt, the joint venture between Grainger and TFL (Connected Living London delivering homes for Londoners). Please could you clarify the proportion of properties which are pre-let under the Affordable Housing schemes.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 August 2023 asking for information about Connected Living.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: I would like to submit a FOI request regarding Connected Living, which is, for the avoidance of doubt, the joint venture between Grainger and TFL (Connected Living London delivering homes for Londoners). Please could you clarify the proportion of properties which are pre-let under the Affordable Housing schemes.
On behalf of Connected Living London (CLL), we can confirm that none of the affordable homes are currently pre-let. The partnership is working with local authorities where a nominations agreement is part of the S106, and closer to practical completion will begin to allocate the affordable homes in line with the approved nominations agreement. Allocations and nominations processes will comply with the Regulator of Social Housing's Tenancy Standard which sets expectations for registered providers of social housing to let their homes to tenants in a fair, transparent and efficient way.
