The works carried out on Kew Bridge recently relate to the Cycleway 9 - Chiswick High Road scheme. In answer to your questions 1 and 3, please see the following page of the TfL website. This provides general information about the scheme, reasoning for it and data that has been collated so far. This page also sets out the information previously published on the effects of the scheme, as well as what our plans for the future of the scheme will be:

In answer to question 2, the cost of works on the Kew Bridge and Kew Bridge Junction to Wellesley Road section of route was c£2.6m. We do not hold a record of the cost of the Kew Bridge element alone as the contractor charges a cost for the whole package. Please note these are construction costs only and do not include design works.
