Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 September 2017 asking for information about bus routes and bus frequencies within Hounslow. I apologise for the delay in replying.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.  You asked for: the number of buses travelling through per working day on Routes H 26,H 235 and H635 within Hounslow along Sparrow Farm Drive and Sunbury Road as at 30th August 2012 and as at 31st March 2017. Sparrow Farm Drive is only served by the H26. In addition, Sparrow Farm forms part of a one-way loop at the end of the route, so buses only serve the Sparrow Farm estate in one-direction (anti-clockwise).

Route H26

According to our records the H26 route was introduced in August 1993. In August 2012, the weekday schedule contained 57 bus services per day.  In March 2017, the weekday schedule contained 58 bus services per day.  (i.e. the frequency has not changed since 2012).

Sunbury Road is served by route 235 and school route 635.

Route 235

The 235 was introduced in August 1996. In August 2012, the weekday schedule contained 127 southbound bus movements and 128 northbound bus movements per day.  In March 2017, the weekday schedule contained 126 southbound bus movements and  127 northbound bus movements per day i.e. the base frequency has not changed since 2012, although an additional peak hour return journey was removed in Jan 2017).

Route 635

The 635 as a stand alone school bus service was introduced in April 2004 to replace what had previously been additional journeys on the 235.

In August 2012, the weekday schedule contained 3 southbound bus movements (all in the morning) and 3 northbound bus movements (all in the afternoon).

In March 2017, the weekday schedule still contained 3 southbound bus movements (all in the morning) and 3 northbound bus movements (all PM) i.e. the frequency on the 635 has not changed since 2012).
