Dear Sir/Madam Please can you provide me a list of stations or other LUL property whcih have war memorials. Where those memorials are not immediately accessible to the public (i.e. not like the one at Baker Street station) pleased can you provide details of how one can access the memorial ie who to ask for viewing appointment. I am interested in war memorials on LUL property for LUL (predecessor companies) staff and others. I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 September 2022 asking for information about War Memorials on London Underground property.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find below a list of War Memorials at London Underground stations. These are all accessible to members of the public.
 
  1. Metropolitan Railway Company, Baker Street - WWI
  2. Balham – WWII
  3. Colindale – WWII
  4. Sloane Square (to be installed) - WWII
  5. Bounds Green – WWII
  6. Bethnal Green Underground (both plaque and Stairway to Heaven)
