Follow-on from 1234-1718: Following on from my email below - I have noticed that the route 209 also went out to tender on 17 July 2017 due to be return on 29 August 2917. Could I also therefore ask for a copy of this invitation to tender in addition to those mentioned below to be sent to me.
We have just noticed that a number of other buses contracts have been awarded recently - routes: 33, 72 and 419. As the contracts have been awarded we would be very grateful if you could send me copies of the invitation to tender for those three contracts. We’d very much appreciate a speedy reply as we have a meeting with our MP, Zac Goldsmith, on 15th September and we need to brief him on their contents beforehand.
We answered
Thank you for your emails received by us on 8 and 11 September 2017 asking for copies of the Invitation to Tender documents for bus routes 209, 33, 72 and 419. I am sorry that my response has not reached you sooner.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Please find attached the requested documentation.
Please also note that the original bus route 72 specification was based on converting the service to a double deck vehicle after strengthening works were carried out on Hammersmith Bridge. As these have been indefinitely delayed, a revised Monday to Friday specification for continued single deck vehicle operation was issued, which is attached.
As a result of the delay to the Hammersmith Bridge works, the retendering of route 209 has been postponed by one year to allow time for reassessment once the final plan for the bridge has been confirmed.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
