In particular, please could you respond to the following:
• Which company instructed the construction of the building?
• Which year was the building built?
• Who owns the building?
• Assuming transport for London and/or its subsidiaries have an interest in the substation, when was it last:

For each of the above please specify the reason for access.
• What is the current use for this substation?

Thank you for your clarified request which we received on 3 August, asking for information about 108A Whitechapel Road.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Abraham Segalov, a watchmaker in Black Lion Yard and Clapton Common.
• Which year was the building built?
It was built by Kirk & Kirk in 1922/1924.
• Who owns the building?
Transport for London.
• Assuming transport for London and/or its subsidiaries have an interest in the substation, when was it last: • Used, • Maintained, • Surveyed, • Accessed ,
108A Whitechapel Road is not a substation. The building is used for residential and commercial purposes.
For each of the above please specify the reason for access. • What is the current use for this substation? • Is there any planned future usage for this building other than for operational requirements?
