I work as a bus driver on Route 18 (currently on tender). As far as I'm aware the current contract expires on 11th November 2022. We have had no news for months and we need to plan for the future. Could you please explain what's causing the delay and when we can expect a winning bid announcement? Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13th September 2022 asking for information about the tender result for bus route 18.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

There is no delay to any tender award. The contract for route 18 does not expire until 8th November 2024, and the contract is not currently out to tender.
