Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
The average speed cameras on the A2 came into operation in March 2017.
To access how successful a scheme is in reducing casualties, 36 months worth of data is analysed. As such, the scheme will be evaluated after March 2020.
The Average Speed Cameras between the Kidbrooke and Sun in the Sands junctions are currently operational and not obscured by any foliage. Our Safety Cameras are maintained regularly to ensure that they are always visible to motorists and checked for accuracy and enforceability by the contractors and the Police enforcement team.
