We answered

Our ref: FOI-1421-1920/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 August 2019 asking for information about facial recognition technology at King’s Cross.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

I can confirm that we do not hold the information you require. TfL has not been consulted on any DPIA undertaken by the developer concerned, and we have not undertaken any DPIA ourselves (because it isn’t our project).  As we have not had any involvement with the introduction of facial recognition technology to King’s Cross we do not hold any relevant information.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
