Request ID: FOI-1414-2425 Date published: 23 August 2024
You asked
This is a freedom of information request regarding the project “cycle future route 15” to build a cycleway between Streatham Pendennis Road and Oval station
According to media reports, in 2020 TfL appointed a firm to develop feasibility and concept designs for the route https://highways.today/2020/10/02/tfl-ghd-cycle-route-15-london/
I understand the whole route is not currently being progressed, other than the section at Streatham Hill.
However, please could you send me any concept designs and feasibility work which was produced for the whole CFR 15 route between Pendennis Road and Oval station
Thank you

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on1 August 2024 asking for information about concept designs and feasibility work for Cycle Future Route 15.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Due to the financial impact of the pandemic, the development of Cycle Future Route 15 has been phased.
We started with an experimental scheme implementing low-cost changes along the route, such as banning certain turns, loading bays alterations, and adding advance stop lines. In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
Once funding becomes available, we intend to start feasibility work on the next section of Cycle Future Route 15 towards Brixton. We are not aware of any existing feasibility designs for this section yet.
