Dear Transport for London,
I am looking for a number of things on both black cabs in London and Uber taxis in London
1) The number of people who took the knowledge test from 2012-2017
2) The numbers of Black cab drivers registered in Lodnon from 2012-2017 3)The number of times Uber has been used from surveys since 2014
4) Number of trips by both black cabs and Uber 2014-2017
We answered
Thank you for your email received by us on 6 September 2017 asking for information about black cabs and private hire vehicles in London.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:
1) The number of people who took the knowledge test from 2012-2017
Once a person has been accepted onto the Knowledge of London they must pass five tests, one at each stage of the Knowledge process. To enable us to provide a succinct answer to your question please can you provide further detail of what you are specifically seeking, for example what stage of the knowledge test process you are interested in.
2) The numbers of Black cab drivers registered in London from 2012-2017
