Thank you for your email of 17 August 2018 asking for data that shows registrations and also when the licence was granted and it’s expiry date for each Taxi and Private Hire vehicle. I am sorry for the delay in replying.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

The information you have requested is contained within the attached spreadsheets. However, please note that taxi and private hire vehicles are licensed on an annual basis and where there is a period of relicensing some data in the vehicle records are overwritten to reflect the new licence. Therefore, the information provided in the accompanying attachment is a snapshot of all licensed taxi and private hire vehicles as of 20 August 2018.
