Toilets on the TfL Rail Class 360 Units
Request ID: FOI-1365-1819
Date published: 11 September 2018
You asked
I would like to know why you have disabled the use of toilets on your fleet of Class 360 (Desiro) units on the TfL Rail between Paddington and Terminal 4.
Many people travelling to and from the airport on a daily basis will need to use facilities such as the toilet, which is already available on these units. In fact, I have seen people walking through the carriages thinking the toilet is functional when it isn’t.
Yours faithfully

The toilets have not been closed out on the 360S and are still available. However, some maintenance challenges with the toilets are being addressed with the supplier.
