How many times each year were freedom passes used on TFL services between 2016 and 2019 inclusive? How much would these journeys have cost if freedom passes had not been used?
How many freedom passes have been issued that are still in date in london as a most recently available figure?
How many people are entitled to apply for a freedom pass in london as a most recently available figure?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 September 2021 asking for information about Freedom Passes.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
How many times each year were freedom passes used on TFL services between 2016 and 2019 inclusive? How much would these journeys have cost if freedom passes had not been used?
The TfL settlement with London Councils for Freedom Pass and with the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS - bus only) travel is agreed on past journeys that happen between July and June for settlement the following financial year over four quarters.
The journeys below are for the year ending June for settlement the following financial year.
