Email/flyer to TfL station staff bus driver toilets

Request ID: FOI-1351-1920
Date published: 28 August 2019

You asked

There is an agreement in TfL/LUL that London bus drivers are allowed to use toilets at the underground station. May i please see the emails sent to relevant department or managers of the underground depot. May i also know if there was a poster or flyer for TfL staff to allow London bus drivers to be allowed to use toilets. If there is a flyer can we please see a copy of this flyer as i presume that a flyer was meant to be generated following incidents that TfL underground staff were not aware London bus drivers were actually allowed to use the toilets.

Our ref: FOI-1351-1920/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 August 2019 asking for information about an agreement in TfL/LUL that London bus drivers are allowed to use toilets at the underground station.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. We have published a couple of reminders (the last about a year ago) that bus drivers should be permitted access to toilets at the underground stations. However, we have searched and been unable to locate a copy of this reminder.

I am sorry that we are unable to assist you on this occasion. If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
