We answered

Our Ref:          FOI-1341-1819

Thank you for your request received on 14 August 2018 asking for information about Thayers Farm Road.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Collision data is available on our website using the following link:

https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/safety-and-security/road-safety/london-collision?intcmp=33888

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.

At present the latest finalised data available via the London Collision Map is up to 31 December 2016. The Metropolitan Police (MPS) introduced a new system for recording collision in November 2016. The new IT system and self-reporting tool for reporting collisions and injuries has provided TfL with more in-depth data to check and analyse, which we are still working with the MPS to try and resolve. This has led to a delay in processing data for 2017. We hope to complete processing of the 2017 data by September 2018; and the data available in the London Collision Map as well as the website will be updated from that period onwards.

We do not hold traffic flow or speed data for Thayers Farm Road as it does not form part of the Transport for London (TfL) Road Network (TLRN). The London Borough of Bromley is the highway authority for this road, therefore they are likely to hold the requested information. They can be contacted directly via their website: www.bromley.gov.uk.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please feel free to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
