Thank you for your emails received by us on 14 August 2018 asking for information about contraventions on Parklands Parade, Hounslow.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

data on the number of penalties issued for parking on Parklands Parade Hounslow TW5 9AX together with how many were successfully challenged and cancelled.

We issue Penalty Charge Notice (PCNs) when we have reason to believe a contravention occurred. In accordance with the statutory regulations, a motorist can challenge a penalty by submitting a representation to us. If we reject their representation, they can submit an appeal against this decision to the Independent Adjudicators at London Tribunals.

PCN volumes, representation and appeal data for the last six years are all detailed in the following table; information held prior to 2013 has been archived.

Please note that from 2017, we received frequent customer complaints about parking violations on Parklands Parade. Consequently we increased the monitoring and enforcement of parking violations committed around this area.

I can advise that two appeals remain open from 2017. Figures for 2018 are correct up to 17 August 2018..
