I am writing to make an official request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I am seeking copies of the title deeds and maps related to the sale of the land currently known as the Gunnersbury Park Conservation Area. Specifically, I am interested in the documentation from when the Rothschild family sold this land to the London Borough of Hounslow in the 1920's.
To assist with your search, the Gunnersbury Park Conservation Area includes Gunnersbury Park, Lionel road and the Gunnersbury triangle area.
Please provide the following:
1. Copies of the title deeds associated with the sale of the land by the Rothschild family to the London Borough of Hounslow.
2. Maps that were included or referenced in the sale transaction.
I have been made that TFL may have obtained copies of these a few years ago, around the summer of 2022.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, you are required to respond to this request within 20 working days, meaning a response is due by 23 August 2024.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on26 July 2024 asking for information about Gunnersbury Park Conservation Area.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Please find attached a copy of the documentation we hold concerning the agreement between Lionel Nathan de Rothschild and Union Surplus Lands Company Limited for the sale of land forming part of the Gunnersbury Estate (13.144 acres). We are unable to locate documentation indicating that the London Borough of Hounslow is a party to the specified agreement.
