Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:
How many apprentices do you have and what percentage are they of the total workforce?
How many university graduates do you have and what percentage are they of the total workforce?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26th July 2023 asking for information about apprentices and graduates working at TfL.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Your questions are answered in turn below:
Question 1: How many apprentices do you have and what percentage are they of the total workforce?
Answer: We currently have 328 apprentices which equates to 1.17% of our total workforce.
Question 2: How many university graduates do you have and what percentage are they of the total workforce?
Answer: We do not retain educational data for all employees and therefore we do not hold the information to answer this question. We do, however, have a variety of graduate schemes for which a university qualification is required and currently have 121 employees engaged on a current post-graduate programme.
