I can confirm that we hold the information you require. I am informed by our Streetworks team that the closure in question was due to unplanned repair works to a water main by Thames Water which lasted for several days. The works took place at the Junction with Kendal Street. The work required the northbound closure of Edgware Road from Marble Arch, with an initial diversion via Oxford Street ,with the following diversion in place:

  • closure of Edgware Road: divert left on to Lancaster Terrace, then on to Sussex Gardens, Edgware Road.
