Can we please get data for the last 6 months in total, for which stations people arrive at when they leave from Battersea Park and which stations they depart from to arrive at Battersea Park

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 July 2023 asking for information about destinations and arrivals from for Battersea Park.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
Please see the attached two spreadsheets containing journeys to (FOI_1323-2324-BP_destination)and journeys from (FOI_1323-2324-BP_origin) Battersea Park station. The data is for the most recent six months, from 31/1/23 to 31/7/23 inclusive. Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), information on journeys which less than five people took has been withheld as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act as personal data of these persons could be identified. Disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the DPA, specifically the first principle of the DPA which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions of Schedule 2 of the Data Protection Act which would make the processing ‘fair’. This exemption to the right of access to information is an absolute exemption and not subject to an assessment of whether the public interest favours use of the exemption.
