Request ID: FOI-1320-1718
Date published: 05 October 2017
You asked
Please would you provide in excel format a breakdown of the fare revenue across Rail (excluding London Underground and excluding London Overground), London Overground and Bus (separately) in the TfL zones in the following categories for the last 5 financial years ending March 2017:
Annual season ticket/travelcard
Monthly Season ticket/travelcard
Weekly season ticket/travelcard (being 7 days tickets not from capping)
Weekly capped tickets (as separate from weekly season ticket purchases in advance)
Non-Travelcard fare revenue
If the above could be amalgamated with both Oyster and Paper (when such was available), that would be appreciated.

We do not hold Rail data before 2016/17 when these services were taken over by TfL.
We are also unable to provide you with the detailed breakdown you have requested – the information above is the only revenue data we hold for the requested period.
We do not hold data on Travelcard Seasons revenue by validity period so all season ticket revenue is combined. This is also true for Bus Pass seasons.
We do not separate Weekly capped revenue from other PAYG revenue. So all PAYG revenue is combined.
If this is not the information you are looking for please do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
