FOI request detail

Assessment of Cycleway 2 under New Cycle Route Quality criteria

Request ID: FOI-1318-2122
Date published: 14 October 2021

You asked

Dear Transport for London, In December 2019, you published the document "Cycleways Signing Guidance" on your website (cf. http://planning.data.tfl.gov.uk/cycleways-signing-guidance.pdf) which indicated: "The Cycleways network supersedes the Quietways and Superhighways brand, with changes to onstreet wayfinding infrastructure expected for all existing Quietway and Superhighway routes that meet TfL’s New Cycle Route Quality Criteria." [page 8] Signage has now appeared on CS2 showing this route has now been re-branded as "Cycleway 2." This, combined with the information above, suggests that CS2 has now been assessed under these criteria and found in compliance. Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please give me: 1. The outcome of Cycle(Superhigh)way 2's assessment against the New Cycle Route Quality Criteria - i.e. the completed New Cycle Route Quality Criteria tool spreadsheet; 2. details of any remedial works identified, to bring Cycle(Superhigh)way 2 up to the standards required by the New Cycle Route Quality Criteria
