I would like to request a copy of any announcements (iBus, London Underground, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway, Tram, TFL Rail/Elizabeth Line and Station Announcements) that you are permitted to release. This would include the new announcements covering the Northern Line Extension to Battersea if possible.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17th September 2021 asking for recordings of announcements from various TfL services. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your email account has now been added to the permissions list to access the audio recordings and you should now have an email with a link enabling you to access the folder (please check your spam folder if this is not visible).
Upon opening the link you will be asked to verify your account which will generate a code to be send to your email address which is only valid for 15 minutes (you may need to check your spam folder). Once that code is entered you will have access to the relevant files which can then be downloaded. Should you encounter any difficulty with this please contact [email protected]. Note that the files do not yet contain the announcements from the Northern Line Extension. We will upload these in due course, where those recordings are not subject to the section 43 ‘commercial prejudice’ exemption (as is the case with various other London Underground announcements due to the terms of our contract with the suppliers). The section 22 “information intended for future publication” therefore applies to this information at the current time. Given we are likely to resolve this matter very shortly, we believe the public interest rests in applying the exemption and withholding the material until its publication with the suite of other announcements.
