I would like to request passenger numbers on bus routes 422, 486, 132, 96 and 89 for every month between January 2017 and June 2022 inclusive.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22nd July 2023 asking for information about bus passenger numbers.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I would like to request passenger numbers on bus routes 422, 486, 132, 96 and 89 for every month between January 2017 and June 2022 inclusive.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheet. Please note:
the number of boarders shows passengers who travelled by Oyster or Contactless Payment Card only;
there is no data for April, May and June 2020 (during the pandemic) due to our middle door boarding policy, and where any data captured in this period would likely be inaccurate.
