Hello,
In the TfL annual report there is data for annual CO2e emissions that includes trams trains, buses as well as buildings operated. Would it be possible to have this number broken down by each one of these respective categories?

Thank you for your request received by us on 1 August 2019 asking for information about annual CO2e emissions inclusive of trams trains, buses as well as buildings operated.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

You may be interested to know that TfL reports on its direct carbon emissions performance through its annual Health Safety and Environment report, which can be accessed here: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/health-safety-and-environment.
We are also upgrading the diesel fleet of bus vehicles to the ultra-clean Euro VI standard to help reduce the most harmful tailpipe emissions. We are almost 80 per cent there and the remaining vehicles will be raised to this level between now and the latter part of 2020. Our ultimate aim is to have an entirely zero-emission fleet no later than 2037. There are 150 zero emission London Buses so far and we anticipate pure electric and hydrogen fuel-cell moving more into line with conventional diesel to get us there.
