Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21st July 2023 asking for information about the buses Superloop.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked the following, further to case reference FOI-0905-2324:

As a separate request, please provide all correspondence involving the UK Statistics Authority about that figure.”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

Please see the three email chains attached which represent all of the information that falls within the scope of your request. Note that the names and direct contact details of external staff, and the direct contact details of TfL staff, have been redacted under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act, the exemption that protects against the unfair release of personal data.

Note that the following page of our website provides more detail about the Superloop network:

https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/buses/superloop

That page will be updated with the latest information as our plans for the Superloop develop. When complete the network will consist of new proposed bus routes and existing bus routes, which will receive new route numbers and improved branding. Supported by funding provided by the Mayor of London, the Superloop is a key part of the Mayor’s commitment to improving the bus network in outer London. The rebranded routes will see changes to service frequency and provide an instantly recognisable bus service that clearly differs from existing services. They will also feature a range of customer improvements. Exact features will vary as different vehicle types are used on different routes, but improvements across the Superloop network will include improved customer information, USB charging and priority seat moquette.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
