In relation to a previous freedom of information request FOI-0504-1718, in disclosing TFL/FOI stated Our records show that from the beginning of 2017 we have revoked 42 operator licences. Reasons for the revocations include: · Where a company has ceased trading · Failing a compliance inspection(s) · Failure to meet the fit and proper person criteria. I would be obliged if you could supply me with copies of the revocation notices/letters that were dispatched to operators (of the 42) that failed a compliance inspection, may I add I do not wish to be provided with any personal details and as such please redact

Our ref: FOI-1295-1819/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 August 2018 asking for copies of revocation notices/letters.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Of the 42 operators mentioned, only one was revoked owing to failed compliance.

Please find attached a copy of the final letter that was sent to this operator. Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation, any personal information has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
