Please can you inform me the total number of ph drivers and vehicles (currently or latest available) registered with Private hire operators.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

The information provided by private hire operators must undergo analysis and verification. For this reason, the most up to date data available has been provided, as follows:
The number of unique private hire drivers working, or that were available to work, for a private hire operator between 28 May and 24 June 2023 is 77,472 and the number of vehicles is 80,884. This number is based on data provided by private hire operators and is subject to change following further analysis and verification of the data we continue to receive.
