I am requesting the following information regarding PCN notices at O/S 433-439 Bromley Road BR1:
- Please can you advise me on how many PCN notices have been issued here in the last full month in which data is available
- Please can you advise me on how many PCN notices have been issued here in the last full year in which data is available
- Can you advise me on how many notices were appealed and how many were successful in their appeal for both periods
- Can you also please inform me of the total income from this location from PCN notices for both the last month and year in which financial records are available.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 August 2022 asking for information about PCN location O/S 433-439 Bromley Road BR1.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
- Please can you advise me on how many PCN notices have been issued here in the last full month in which data is available
In August 2022, 154 PCNs were issued for contraventions of this parking bay.
- Please can you advise me on how many PCN notices have been issued here in the last full year in which data is available
In the last full year, 1 August 2021 – 31 August 2022, 3,611PCNs were issued for contraventions of this parking bay.
- Can you advise me on how many notices were appealed and how many were successful in their appeal for both periods
When a PCN is issued a motorist has a right to challenge the penalty by making a representation to us. If the representation is accepted the penalty is cancelled. If we reject the representation the motorist has a further right of appeal to an Independent Adjudicator at London Tribunals. If the appeal is refused the penalty remains open, if it is allowed the penalty is cancelled.
For August 2022, of the 154 PCNS issued we received 20 representations. Of these 4 were accepted, 2 were rejected, and 14 remain open. Of the 2 rejected representations we have received no appeals.
From 1 August 2021 – 31 August 2022, of the 3,611 PCNS issued we received 827 representations. Of these 405 were accepted, 271 were rejected, and 151 remain open. Of the 271 rejected representations we received 66 appeals. Of these 3 were allowed, 34 were refused, 9 remain open to be investigated, 13 were non-contested, 2 were withdrawn and 5 are awaiting an outcome.
- Can you also please inform me of the total income from this location from PCN notices for both the last month and year in which financial records are available.
For August 2022, we received £6,320 in payments against these PCNs.
From 1 August 2021 – 31 August 2022, we received £244,358 in payments against these PCNs.
Please be aware that these payments will increase over time as PCNs can be paid later on in the enforcement process.
