You asked
In April 2022 the payment gateway that Virgin Media use stopped working, making it impossible to purchase Wi-Fi passes for use on the London Underground. Virgin Media are aware, and requests have also been made to your customer support team to alert them to this.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21st August 2022 asking for communications between TfL and Virgin Media. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

At the time of your request TfL had not had any correspondence with Virgin Media on this matter. Please note that the issue lies with Virgin Media, and the payment gateway has nothing to do with TfL. However, that said, following receipt of your request a colleague in our Technology and Data team has written to Virgin Media asking them for an update.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
