Dear Foi team
Please let me know the last time you cleaned the A406 Road as it really is filthy? The Google map images suggest it's one year at the least.
We answered
Our ref: FOI-1261-2425/GH
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 July 2024 asking for information about A406 litter.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require, as TfL is not responsible for cleaning roads. This is the responsibility of each borough falling under their EPA (Environmental Protection Act) duties. The North Circular Road (officially the A406 and sometimes known as simply the North Circular) is a 25.7-mile-long (41.4 km) ring road around central and north London from east to west and covering many boroughs.
As we don’t know which section of the A406 you are referring to we cannot direct you to the correct borough, however, we suggest you raise this with the relevant London borough.
I am sorry we are unable to assist you on this occasion. If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
Graham Hurt
