I am a master’s student in the process of writing my dissertation on the impact of shared autonomous vehicles on London. I am about to simulate a fleet of those AVs, and will need to have access to data on the location and type of public charging points in London. Would it be possible to have this information shared with me?

Thank you for your email which we received on 29 July 2019 asking for information about electric vehicle charging points.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Please find the attached spreadsheet showing rapid charging points in London delivered by TfL. All charge points should be installed with the following connectors under the framework contract; 1 x CHAdeMO 50DC connector and 1x CHAdeMO 43AC connector.

Please note the points are also installed by other organisations (such as London boroughs), and we do not hold details from the rapid charge points they installed.
