Follow-on from FOI-0989-2122: I would like to submit a narrowed request, seeking information on any operational changes reported by Uber pertaining to their "matching system" which is used for allocating work to drivers by matching them with riders/passengers. I am happy to further narrow my request to changes reported over the past year.

Thank you for your request received on 10 September 2021 asking for information about any changes to Uber’s “matching system” in the past year.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

We do not hold the information you have requested. We have carried out a search for emails to/from the members of our Taxi and Private Hire team most likely to correspond with Uber that contain the word ‘matching’ over the past year. Having reviewed the results of this search we can confirm that we do not hold any information that is relevant to your request.

If you would like a further search done then please provide the terms you would like us to search against.
