Thank you for your request received by us on 9 September 2021 asking for information about Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) compliant buses.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:

We can advise that all vehicles in use on the TfL Bus Network are compliant with the new emission standards, namely Euro VI or better, which applied to heavy vehicles from earlier in the year.
In instances where vehicles were either not new or Euro VI compliant or better, they have been retrofitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to ensure their emissions meet those standards. Therefore, over 4,000 buses have been upgraded as a result.
